Weekly Photo Digest Application
Social networking sites have grown quickly over the past decade. Although the uptake of social networking services by adults has increased quickly, it is still limited for older adults. To address this tension, my master’s study is to construct a helpful tool, in particular, a simple Facebook weekly photo digest application that supports their social needs with their families and bridges the gaps between them and a digital social media life.The application automatically collects and organizes photos that are posted by seniors’ friends and relatives on Facebook, and produces a weekly news/photo digest page on an older adult’s mobile device.
