Amna Liaqat is a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Toronto working under the supervision of Dr. Cosmin Munteanu. She received her BBA with a joint major in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University in 2016, and received her MSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto in 2018. Amna’s research focuses on developing technologies that support older adult immigrants in learning language, making sense of culture, and building social connectivity.
